Meet Andrew, Founder
Andrew founded Sollows Technical on more than two decades of hands-on design and analysis, most of it in aerospace since 2004, plus work in oil and gas and energy. He has built a career on delivering ruggedized, standards-compliant hardware where failure isn’t an option.
When clients hit a problem they can’t crack, they bring it to Andrew. A subject matter expert in precision mechanical design and advanced simulation, he also brings deep DFM/DFA expertise, so designs prove out in analysis and build cleanly in production.
His expertise spans the full product development cycle, from concept through solid modeling, GD&T, electronics packaging, reverse engineering and complete drafting packages, along with PDM, project management and product life cycle management. He is also a subject matter expert in CE marking and technical file preparation, helping clients get products compliant for the European market.
He also has a knack for assembling the right team for each job, bringing in experienced PCB designers and electrical specialists as needed, whether it’s a quick surge to hit a deadline or a long-term partnership. He leads that team from first concept to production-ready drawings.
